Affiliate Program Terms
Last updated: 2026-10-05
These terms are the agreement between you (the "Affiliate") and Damian Mathew Bishop, trading as OIO, ul. Wierzbięcice 44a/40A, 61-568 Poznań, Poland, NIP 7773472578 ("we"). You accept them when you apply on the affiliate page, or when you share your personal OIO referral link. The summary on the affiliate page is a short version of these terms; if they differ, these terms apply.
1. Joining
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts. We may accept or decline any application, without giving a reason.
- You are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or partner. You cannot make promises or sign anything on our behalf.
- Your OIO account's own referral link and an approved affiliate link work under the same terms.
2. What you earn
- 30% of each payment a customer you referred makes to us, after refunds and chargebacks and without taxes and payment fees charged on top.
- Only payments in the first 12 months after that customer signed up count.
- A customer counts as yours if they signed up within 60 days of clicking your link, and did not click another affiliate's link after yours (last click wins). Our records decide attribution.
- No commission on your own account, on any workspace you are a member of, on accounts you control, or on sign-ups obtained in breach of these terms.
3. Payouts
- Commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment, so refunds in that window cancel it first. A refund or chargeback after we paid you comes off your next payouts.
- We pay once a month, by bank transfer or PayPal, when your payable balance is at least $50. A smaller balance rolls over.
- Commission is earned in the currency the customer paid in. We pay in that currency or convert it at our bank's or PayPal's rate on the payout day. Fees your bank or PayPal charges you are yours.
- You must give us correct payout details and the tax information we ask for. We may hold payouts until we have them.
- If you are a business, you send us an invoice for each payout if your law requires it; we can tell you what to put on it.
4. Taxes
You are responsible for declaring and paying the taxes and social contributions on what you earn. Where Polish law makes us deduct tax from a payment to you (for example withholding tax on payments abroad), we deduct it and give you a statement; to apply a lower treaty rate we may ask for a certificate of tax residence.
5. How you may promote OIO
- Say that you are paid. Every post, video, newsletter or page with your link must say clearly that you earn a commission, close to the link and before people click, for example "affiliate link: I get paid if you subscribe". Use the labelling your platform and country require (in the US the FTC Endorsement Guides, in the EU and UK consumer law, in Poland the UOKiK guidance, such as #ad or #reklama).
- Be honest. Only say what is true about OIO, as it is today. No invented features, prices, discounts, earnings claims or fake reviews, and do not pretend to be a plain user.
- No spam. No unsolicited email, messages, comments or forum posts, no bought lists, no bots.
- No brand bidding. Do not bid on "OIO", "oio.app" or misspellings in search or social ads, and do not run ads that send people straight to oio.app through your link.
- No coupon or cashback sites, incentivised sign-ups or self-referrals.
- Do not use our name or logo in a domain, account name or ad that could make people think you are OIO. You may use our logo only to show what you are reviewing.
- Follow the law where you promote, including privacy and cookie rules on your own site.
6. Data
You see counts of clicks, sign-ups and paying customers and your commission, never who the customers are. We handle your own data as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Breaking the rules
If you break these terms, we may withhold commission earned through the breach, take back commission already paid for it, and end your participation at once. We tell you what we found and you can reply.
8. Ending
- Either side can end this agreement at any time by email.
- If we end it for any reason other than a breach, we still pay commission on payments made by your customers within 30 days of the end, once they become payable.
- When it ends, remove your links within a reasonable time. Unpaid balances under $50 are paid out on request.
9. Changes
We may change these terms, including the rates, for the future with at least 30 days' notice by email. Commission you already earned stays as it was. If you do not agree, you can leave before the change applies.
10. Liability and law
- We are not liable for your lost profits or for missed attribution caused by browsers, ad blockers or cookie settings. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim, except for intent or gross negligence.
- You cover our costs from claims caused by how you promoted OIO.
- Polish law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Poznań, Poland, unless mandatory law where you live says otherwise.
