About OIO

Who builds it

OIO is built by a freelancer. I'm a designer out of the automotive industry and I've worked freelance since 2014. Since Covid I've run CG Experts, a small 3D studio for product visualisation and CAD rendering. The team is fully remote and spread across time zones.

Why it exists

Running the client side of that studio took seven tools: a project app, a CRM, invoicing, contracts, files, e-signatures and team chat. Seven logins, seven bills, and none of them knew about the others, so the admin was still done by hand. The invoice didn't know its project. The ticket didn't know its client.

I couldn't find a tool that connected it, so I built one with my own money and time. OIO is that tool: leads, projects, tickets, documents, invoices and the money behind one login, all wired to each other. CG Experts runs on it.

How it is run

• Self-funded. No investors.
• Operated by a sole trader in the EU. Full details on the imprint.
• The database is hosted in the EU (Ireland). Sub-processors are listed in the DPA.
• Paid plans fund it. Pricing is public and there is a free plan.
