What We Do About Violations
We do not monitor what you store, but we act on reports and on what we find while running the Service. Depending on how serious and how repeated the problem is, we may remove or block content, turn off a sharing link or form, limit features, or suspend or close the account. We tell the affected user what we did and why, and how to challenge it, as set out in section 11 of the Terms. Child sexual abuse material is removed at once and reported to the authorities.
Reporting Illegal Content
Send reports to [email protected]. So we can act, include:
- why you believe the content is illegal or breaks this policy;
- the exact link (URL) to it, and anything else that helps us find it;
- your name and email (you can leave these out for child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt, look at every report, decide without undue delay and tell you what we decided. We do not use automated decision-making for reports.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on OIO infringes your copyright, send a report to [email protected] with: the work you say is infringed; the link to the content; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law; a statement that the report is accurate and that you own the right or may act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove or disable access to the content when the report is valid and tell the user.
Counter-notice. If your content was removed after a copyright report and you think that was a mistake, reply with the link to the removed content, a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name and address, and your agreement that the reporting party may sue you in the courts where you live (or in Poznań, Poland if you live outside the EU and the USA). We pass it to the reporter and may restore the content unless they tell us they have started legal action. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Changes
We may update this policy. We give notice of material changes the same way as for the Terms.
